Junior AI and Automation Specialist

Full Job Description

Join Compare Club as a Junior AI and Automation Specialist, writing code for AI agents, workflows, and integrations under the guidance of the Tech Lead. Work in an AI-first environment using Claude Code, n8n, and UiPath to build modern AI tools and automations.

Responsibilities

• Take well-scoped blueprints from Tech Lead, Business Analyst, and stakeholders and turn them into high-quality automation including workflows, integrations, agent tools, and MCP servers
• Write clean, well-structured, and tested code leveraging Claude Code
• Monitor automations in production, respond proactively to failures, fix root causes, and support internal teams
• Follow team standards for Git version control, testing, and documentation
• Participate in code reviews
• Document builds clearly for team and AI tools to reference, extend, and maintain

Qualifications

• Strong foundational coding ability
• Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language (Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript)
• Understanding of Git and command line
• Working knowledge of APIs and data structures
• AI-first mindset to use Claude Code as primary development tool
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with Tech Leads, BAs, and stakeholders
